City Councilor Gerardo Carillo said they need able hands to immediately erect the destroyed fence, to keep the school's properties from being looted.
The City will offer food, like rice and canned goods, in exchange for the help it gets in rebuilding the classrooms and the wall. Volunteers are currently stationed in the school to watch out for thieves.
About 251 families were displaced by the fire, which also damaged eight houses. A total of 1,308 individuals were affected, Carillo said.
